Passionate healthcare attorney with hospital operations experience.

Adam is a dedicated healthcare attorney who started his professional career as a project manager at a large tertiary hospital in the Houston area. Adam brings ten years of hospital operations experience into his legal career, which gives him a unique insight regulatory and compliance issues.

Academic Background

Adam graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy and Letters from the University of Dallas. Adam has also earned an M.A. in Theology from The University of St. Thomas. Prior to entering law school, Adam graduated with special academic distinction from Case Western Reserve University with an M.A. in Bioethics with a focus on Clinical Ethics.

Adam earned his J.D. and LL.M. from the University Houston Law Center. As an evening law student, Adam worked full time at a large tertiary hospital within the Houston area and a medical school. Adam’s legal studies and internships focused on health care law. Throughout his law school career, Adam was on the editorial board of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy.

Adam is licensed to practice law in Texas and is a member of the health law section of the Houston Bar Association and Hispanic Bar Association of Houston.  

Personal

Adam was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is an avid fan of the Houston Astros. Adam also plays and follows tennis and pickleball. Aside from sports, Adam enjoys traveling and spending time with his rescue dog Chula. One of Adam’s life goals is to visit all major leagues baseball parks.
