Leah Nadel is a promising health care attorney. Her practice focuses on a broad range of healthcare regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters. She has a background in health sciences, which allows her to better understand her clients’ businesses and advance their interests.
Academic Background
Leah earned her B.A. in Biology from Drew University, where she pursued clinical research in pediatric orthopedics. She was an honors student who was accepted into Phi Beta Kappa her junior year.
Leah earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. As an evening law student, she worked full-time at a law firm specializing in medical malpractice, insurance defense, and intellectual property. Leah’s law school studies focused on health care law. She also served as the Outreach Coordinator for the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy. Her article on the public health ramifications of regenerative medicine regulation was published in the 2021 edition of the same journal. Leah rounded out her law school experience by serving as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Jeffrey Brown, a federal judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Leah is close to completing her M.P.H. in health management from the University of Texas Health Science Center. Her M.P.H. research focuses on the implications of the post-partum Medicaid coverage gap.

Personal
Leah is a native Houstonian who enjoys traveling, the outdoors, exercise classes with friends, and the Houston food scene. She will talk about and show pictures of her fur babies to anybody who will listen.
